Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Lindy studied musical theatre at Wagner College in New York City. She is currently based in Richmond, and is always open to opportunities outside of her hometown.
Lindy is proudest of her vocal versatility. Over the years, she has studied with various teachers who specialized in a number of disciplines: golden age MT, gospel, contemporary classic MT, opera, and contemporary MT (in that order!).
She fronted the rock & blues band Yesterday and Tomorrow as their lead singer from 2013–2017, co-writing and recording three albums with them. She was also the music director and choreographer for the a cappella group Dragon Scales, and her award-winning arrangements of Same Old Blues and Stone Cold can be heard on the EP “Burn.”
Lindy’s favorite projects are musicals, particularly those where she can challenge herself vocally, those with a strong focus on women’s stories, and original works.
When not performing, Lindy works as a book editor. She enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with her family and dogs.
